We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-commerce Logistics Operations Executive specializing in air freight to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the air freight logistics operations for our e-commerce platform, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role requires a deep understanding of air freight logistics, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end air freight logistics operations, including planning, booking, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with air freight carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners. Negotiate rates and contracts to secure the best terms for the company.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and documentation requirements. Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.
• Coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate and efficient handling of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Monitor and analyze logistics costs, identify areas for cost savings, and implement strategies to optimize air freight expenses without compromising service quality.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics related to air freight operations. Generate reports and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proactively identify and resolve any issues or delays in the air freight process. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure seamless operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, customer service, and warehouse teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in air freight logistics. Implement innovative solutions to enhance the company’s logistics capabilities.

Ideal Profile/Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of air freight logistics processes and regulations.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, e-shipping experience from air freight companies preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in invoicing software – Salesforce, SAP, OMS & Concur
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
