Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations (B2B, B2C)

• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring seamless coordination between Inventory, Shipping, and IT teams for optimal storage allocation and transportation arrangements.
• Monitor and manage current stock levels, generating reports and insights to track inventory movement.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including Warehouse Management System (WMS) providers, 3rd-party logistics providers, and transportation vendors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement system enhancements to streamline logistics operations.
• Ensure on-time delivery of goods to retail outlets and customers.

Air Freight (E-Shipping)

• Lead end-to-end air freight logistics operations, from planning and booking to tracking and delivery, ensuring timely shipment of goods
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners, negotiate rates and contracts to secure competitive terms.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and work closely with brokers for smooth clearance
• Coordinate with the inventory team for accurate handling of goods during inbound and outbound shipping
• Analyze logistics costs, identifying opportunities for savings while maintaining high service standards
• Track and evaluate air freight performance metrics, generating insights for operational improvements
• Identify and resolve issues in the air freight process, proactively developing contingency plans
• Work with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, customer service, and warehouse teams, for smooth communication and coordination
• Stay informed of industry trends to implement innovative logistics solutions

People Management

• Lead a team of administrative staff for daily warehouse operations and oversee invoicing for E-shipping
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, assisted by the Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Officer/Executive, to manage daily operations

Equipment/Systems Management

• Administer key systems, including Warehouse Management (WMS), Order Management (OMS), and Robot Management Systems (RMS)
• Utilize Salesforce, SAP, and Concur for efficient invoicing in E-shipping

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Minimum Diploma in Logistics or a related field
• Strong understanding of air freight logistics processes, customs regulations, and industry best practices
• 4-7 years of relevant e-shipping experience in air freight logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
